Class Offerings

Classes are open to school-age students (K-12) only.  

Sorry, we do not offer gymnastics!  
Descriptions for classes offered are below.

Ballet 

Classes will be divided by age and/or skill level.  The classes will concentrate on barre work, down the floor exercises, and choreography.  Ballet shoes are required.  

Jazz 

Classes will be divided by age and/or skill level.  The classes will concentrate on basic jazz techniques and choreography.  Jazz shoes are required.  

Tap

Classes will be divided by age and/or skill level.  The classes will concentrate on BASIC tap steps and choreography.  Tap shoes are required.  

Hip Hop 

Hip Hop is only offered to students in 3rd grade and up.  Classes will be divided by age and/or skill level.  Choreography will be the main focus of this class.  Certain hip hop styles (popping, breaking, etc.) will be addressed.   CLEAN athletic shoes are required.  

Pre - Hip Hop 

By popular request, we offer a pre-hip hop class for those dancers who are too excited to wait until 3rd Grade!  Pre-Hip Hop is for 1st and 2nd Graders ONLY and the dancer MUST have one year of dance experience at A Time to Dance.  Clean athletic shoes are required.  Dancers must also know how to tie their own shoes.    

Boys Hip Hop

This class is just for the guys!  Classes will focus on popping, body isolations, and floor work.  Basic breaking techniques will be taught.  The recommended age is 3rd grade and up, but boys in 1st and 2nd grade are also welcome if they are up to the challenge!  Clean athletic shoes are required.  

Pre-school Creative Movement

This 30 minute class is offered to students that are 4 and 5 years old!  Basic dance skills will be taught, but we will also encourage creative movement through different styles of music, story-telling, and props!
