Julie Anderson-Beasley,
Studio Director and Dance Instructor
Julie Anderson-Beasley began dancing at the age of 2. She danced at "Elaine's School of Dance" in Chrisney, Indiana until she graduated high school in 2001. While dancing at "Elaine's," Julie took classes in ballet, tap, gymnastics, and pointe. Her main focus was ballet and pointe while at the dance studio.
In high school, Julie danced with the Heritage Hills High School Patriot Dance Team for four years. She served as a co-captain of the team during her Junior and Senior years of high school. The team performed pom, jazz, hip hop, and kick line dances for home basketball games. The team also participated in UDA dance camps and Julie earned high performance ratings while at the camp. Julie also choreographed routines for the dance team and for the winter guard at HHHS.
Julie attended Indiana State University, where she majored in Music Education and minored in Dance. Not only did she perform in semester recitals where she danced ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, and ballroom styles, but she also danced in various productions with ISU's Theater Department. She was selected as one of four dancers to perform with the ISU Theater Department in the production of "Leavesakes" at the American College Theater Festival.
Julie was also a member of the Sparkettes Dance Team while at Indiana State University. The team performed jazz, hip hop, pom, and kick line dances. She danced at many basketball games, including the ISU game where Larry Bird's jersey was retired. As a member of the Sparkettes, Julie also had the honor of traveling to and performing at the Missouri Valley Conference Basketball Tournaments and the Brickyard 400.
After college, Julie began teaching music at Indian Creek Elementary School and was later hired to coach dance at ICHS as well. Julie is currently in her 17th year as the head coach of the Indian Creek High School Dance Team in Trafalgar, Indiana. The team performs hip hop, jazz, and kick line routines for home basketball games and local events. They also compete in the Indiana High School Dance Team Association circuit in Scholastic Hip Hop. The team has consistently qualified for State Championships and has even earned the State Runner Up title in 2011 and 2013. The team earned the Scholastic Hip Hop State Champion title at the IHSDTA State Championships in March of 2021, 2022, and 2023.
In addition to coaching and teaching, Julie has choreographed and performed dances for Vineyard Community Church in Greenwood, Indiana and Nineveh Christian Church in Nineveh, Indiana.
Julie opened "A Time to Dance" in 2013 and has been amazed with all God has done with the studio. She prays this studio glorifies the Lord!

Shelby Clark,
Dance Instructor
Shelby Clark began dancing at the age of 7. She received excellent instruction from LeRose Dance Academy in Franklin, Indiana. Miss Shelby took 5 years of dance classes in tap and jazz. Then, she focused her time and effort being a member of the Indian Creek Dance Teams.
While on the Indian Creek Middle School Dance Team, Shelby had the privilege of being on both the basketball performance team and the auditioned competition team. Shelby also performed and competed in small ensembles at the competitions, separate from the team performances. Shelby performed jazz, hip hop, and kickline dances while in middle school.
In high school, Shelby was a 4-year member of the Indian Creek High School Dance Team. She served as a captain of the team during her senior year of high school. She was also a soloist in various performances. The ICHS Dancers performed jazz, hip hop, and kickline routines for games, parades, and competitions. During Shelby's tenure on the ICHS Dance Team, the team earned two State Runner-Up titles and one Southern Regional Championship title. Miss Shelby also had the thrilling opportunity to perform at Lucas Oil Stadium and Banker's Life Fieldhouse. Shelby also played softball throughout her years in school.
Miss Shelby also participated in the dance ministry at Nineveh Christian Church. She has performed lyrical, contemporary, and jazz dances for her church. Shelby also had the opportunity to perform a worship dance at the Kentucky Heartland Outreach, a youth outreach/camp.
Outside of the studio, Shelby loves spending time with her family and caring for her two young children.

Jenna Heck,
Dance Instructor
Jenna Heck began dancing at the age of 4 at LeRose Dance Academy in Franklin, Indiana where she took classes in tap and ballet. She also participated in the Kids Dance Camps through Indian Creek until she was old enough to join Indian Creek's dance teams.
While on the Indian Creek Middle School Dance Team, Jenna had the privilege of participating in both the basketball performance team and the auditioned competition team. Jenna performed jazz, hip hop, and kickline dances while in the middle school.
Jenna was also a 4-year member of the Indian Creek High School Dance Team. She served as a co-captain of the team during her senior year of high school and was a featured soloist in many performances. Jenna's leadership and creative choreography abilities were an asset to the team. While on the team, she performed hip hop, jazz, kickline, and lyrical dances for games, parades, and competitions. Also, during Jenna's tenure on the ICHS Dance Team, the team qualified for IHSDTA State Finals each year and even earned Runner-Up during Jenna's freshman year.
Jenna is also in her seventh year as coach of the Indian Creek Middle School Dance Team. The team performs at middle and high school basketball games and competes in the IHSDTA circuit.
Outside of dance, Jenna owns and operates Pearl Coffee Company. She attends Emmanuel Church in Greenwood and loves helping out at her grandma's farm.

Bailee Steenbergen,

Miss Bailee is entering her fourth season as a dance instructor at our studio.
Bailee took classes in Jazz and Hip Hop during her time at A Time to Dance.

While on the team, Bailee performed hip hop, jazz, lyrical, and kickline dances at basketball games and competitions around the state of Indiana. She also created choreography for the team and for many kids dance camps.
Outside of dance, Bailee is an assistant at Indian Creek Intermediate School and studying education. Bailee attends Emmanuel Church and loves spending time with her family and friends.

We are so excited to announce Miss Quincy as our newest instructor at the studio!
Quincy danced at A Time to Dance for 10 years, taking classes in Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, and Tap.
Quincy is a recent graduate of Indian Creek High School. She was a 4-year member of the Indian Creek High School Dance Team. She served as captain of the team for three years. While on the team, Quincy performed hip hop, jazz, lyrical, and kickline dances at basketball games and competitions around Indiana. As captain, Quincy led her team to THREE State Championship titles in the IHSDTA Scholastic Hip Hop Division. Quincy is known for her dynamic performances and creative choreography.
Outside of dance, Quincy is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. She attends Hoosier Harvest Church and loves spending time with her family and friends!
